Tokunbo Ogunbanjo was born in Croydon, Surrey in England to Nigerian parents. He had his early education in Nigeria before proceeding to Trent College, Nottingham for his secondary education. He began his tertiary education at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and completed his Law degree at the University of Buckingham, England. He practised law in Lagos and sits on the Board of several companies. He also spent a term as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Tokunbo is a keen polo player, an avid boating enthusiast and has a deep love of the Yoruba culture and traditions. He also has a fascination for Archaeology and an interest in Ancient Alien theoretical studies. He is married to Clara, and they have two sons and a daughter.
